The HFW Companies (HFW), a fast-growing professional services firm with a national focus on the architecture and engineering (AE) industry, has hired two additional project accountants to serve its growing portfolio of strategic partners.
The new hires are part of a strategic realignment of its finance/accounting operations to better position the firm and its partners for future growth.
Joining HFW in St. Louis as project accountants are Lindsey Haghighi, who will be providing project accounting for Las Vegas-based HFW Partner Taney Engineering, and Mandy Ercoli, who will be serving Austin, Texas-based HFW Partner 4WARD and Kansas City, Mo.-based HFW Partner GastingerWalker&.
Lindsey previously was an executive administrative assistant and has an extensive background in marketing and sales. Mandy previously was an accounting coordinator and has a background in the art world.
“Lindsey is a team player, has a proven record of successfully accomplishing multiple projects, and has a great ‘can-do’ attitude,” said Michael Hein, AIA, PMP, chief executive officer of HFW. “We’re looking forward to her joining the finance team that also exemplifies many of the same great qualities.”
Of Mandy, Hein said: “Her previous experience in leadership of training others and multi-tasking and her outgoing personality are the perfect addition to our already-high-performing finance team.”
That finance team’s recent expansion has been designed to support HFW’s aggressive growth strategy. To date, HFW serves a portfolio of seven strategic partner firms with a combined 400-plus employees and collective annual revenues that put HFW at 281 in Engineering News Record’s annual Top 500 ranking of the largest AEC companies.
